We’ve come here a couple of times before and the food is pretty good, but I think the drinks were very watered down or had very little carbonation in them. The staff was pretty friendly, but the drinks were sub par. The food was alright, but we may come back again, it depends on if we come through town or not again soon.

I love this place! Thank goodness it's not in Atlanta or my cholesterol would be in trouble I have only tried the chicken gizzards there. And let me tell you, they are delissssh! They give you great portion size as well. So a 9 pc gizzards is quite adequate to quench your hungry...unless you're greedy. They do have larger sizes though, too. They come with a cup size white gravy and roll or biscuit. Although, the gravy feels like a bowl size. I prefer the roll. The biscuit can be overcooked sometimes, but when cooked properly, the better option. I also get the okra fried hard, and they do it right! They have a full selection menu of just about everything you want to try at a full service fast food restaurant. Go to Chicken Express online and browse their menu. I'm sure it is possible to be disappointed, but I don't think it would be with the food!

I had a very unsatisfactory experience. The orders were not prepared according to the established procedures, and I observed staff placing cleaning supplies in food preparation areas and failing to wear gloves.
